Our History

Karak is known as a delicious and refreshing drink for all social occasions, which infuses the cultures from both the Arabian Peninsula and Asia.

Our Chai Karak journey began in Europe the home of our operations, from which we started our testing amongst staff and friends, from this successful trial the UPM GROUP saw the potential for Chai Karak it was from these initial social gatherings that we decided to produce the product commercially for all to enjoy this unique blend of ingredients.

Our vision was to bring a modern cosmopolitan take on the old karak masters by revolutionising the concept of karak from that our mission was to have our team travel to Asia to search for the best karak on the market, in order to create an authentic premix with a few of our own twists and to complement this with a vending machine that would masterfully produce an authentic cup of karak just like its humble beginnings, but even better. To enable the finest herbs with natural flavours for our karak and the best value we worked with our partners in India, from this UPM Chai Karak was born.
